K-1 interview requirements

I heard that I need his last 3 tax transcripts to attend my k-1 interview. But he is having a problem getting his transcript coz when he was out of U.S somebody tried to filehis tax so when he asked for it ,IRS said that he have to file his tax again also fill the form theft identity and some other stuff. My interview is on October of this year. And it could take up to180 days to get his transcript . What we have to do? Will I b deny if he can't get it? We have 10 month old twins already u.s citizen.can I take them to my interview as our relation ship proof?

The previous 3 years tax return transcripts are for when you file an adjustment of status. You will just need evidence that he is currently employed and makes more than the minimum requirement. If you have copies of his pay stubs and a letter from an employer, you should be ok. It would be helpful to have the 2014 tax return, but maybe not necessary.

The more information you can take, the better. You can explain the situation to the IRS and ask them to mail out a letter on official letterhead to him that explains the situation. Just bring as many pay stubs/bank records/retirement savings/assets paperwork that you two can find.

He doesn't have 2014 tax transcript. But 2012. He already got a letter from the company. he works n his pay stubs. And we will try to ask it's to give us a letter that explains the situation.

So can I take our kids as a proof to my interview?
