In 2002 my parents filed permanent resident status for me, for what we were able to find in our records, they only filed form DS-230 here in the USA to be sent to the consulate, in that case should I check that they applied to perm residency status in my 485?

im currently on H1b, im retained that status for the past 2 years.

thank you for your response.

Would you be able to provide more details about situation? What do you mean your parents filed permanent resident status? Do you mean they petitioned for you? Were they USC? Do you know what category?

If that petition has received an approval then you may be able to file for an I-485 depending on the priority date and the category.
