Hi, my wife is a petitioner USC and i am beneficiary we filed our case on December 24th, 2014 and we received our NO1 on January 12th 2015, therefore no updates from USCIS so in June 2015, my wife contacted USCIS and they responded with letter which states they need to have an interview with my wife within 270 days from date of notice, so we been waiting for our interview letter in September we again contact to USCIS about our interview and they again send a letter stating the same thing as earlier interview will be conduct with in 270 days from this day of notice lol.. now my question is does any one have any experience how long its takes to have an interview at local field office MEMPHIS TN and what kind of question do they gonna ask and what kind of documents required, Issue is not to have an interview issue is we are already very late its been 9 months no NO2 yet i don't know how long they will take to approve our petition.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated

hi january 2014, we filed for it, it was approved my uscis but we had moved during the time they had approved it we did not get the letter that it was approved and sent to nvc. so i called and checked on it in august 2014 and that is when they told me that it is sent to nvc. then we had to do more paper work for nvc, that is what took us so long was the paper work for nvc plus the changing of address. a few days ago we got the email that we have interview on october 12th at the usa embassy in uae. now we have medical appointment for him on october 6th.

Our attorney filed the application 18 months ago and went to the field office and filed a "discovery" in February because there still wasn't any response and then finally today got the letter.
