Answering question 1:

If you have already sent original copies to NVC then dont worry. If you only sent photocopies of your docs to NVC and you have originals in your hand then I suggest to attest those to be on safe side and have mental peace. [for my scenario, I sent original's to NVC, but later someone told me that those originals need to be attested by law and foreign ministry. So I was not sure what to do. So I grabbed 1 set photocopy of my all documents, then notarized it; then took law and foreign ministry seal. However, during interview they never asked me anything about it]

Answering question 2:

If I understand correctly, if you have taken previous immunization injection and you have records then take those records to medical office. This may save some immunization cost (may be). I strongly suggest to go to wahab's chamber if you are in dhaka. I heard some negative comments about other places.

Medical office will directly send medical report to US consulate. You dont have to carry anything by yourself to interview. During interview, consulate will return your medical records (patients copy) to you to carry during USA travel to show at POE.

Thank you so much for all the info! I did not send the original documents to the NVC, so I guess I will photocopy the required documents and then attest them :)

Timeline

I first Came in MBA program in a University in CA, Then after couple of Month I transferred to another University around first University. My Bachelor was in Chemistry from Bangladesh. So I spent more than one year in MBA program in these two University. In the meantime, I applied for MS in chemistry with Graduate assistant-ship, I finally got it. I left MBA and I completed MS In chemistry with full assistant-ship and two publication. After that, I got PhD admission in Chemistry in Purdue University which is top 20th University in Chemistry, has two noble laureate in chemistry. Usually, Most of people , change one time from MS school to PhD School but I change two time in MBA program and I did not complete it. If I go back Dhaka to renew my visa in middle of my PhD , is there any chance to reject to renew for changing University several time?

anybody has any idea?

I am confused :(Just came back from the Interview
Whole process takes 2 hours. CO takes only 5 min, just asking few marriage related information and photo. After that she told me, u will be happy to hear that your visa will be issued. She show me the yellow paper and tell me to make an account in ustraveldoc website. I replied - What does mean? is my visa approved? she reply nothing but tell me to go information counter. information counter reply the same. :(

While I was watching some other counters, Other CO congratulate the applicant saying your visa is approved.

What do you think, is my visa approved (Just CO was bad) or not?

P.S. They took my passport and return my all original papers.

@Nepo Cat

It seems like it has been approved. Soon as possible create an account to select the pick up location of your passport. And you can check your visa status in ceac, here is the link - https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

And they kept your passport so it's good news. Be happy and congratulations.

Your visa is approved. Open the account quickly if not opened already with passport details. If you choose Dhaka saimon center as picktup location then within 4-5 days it will be ready to pickup. Congratulation.
