Hey all,

Tried searching but some of the info that confirmed seemed very old so not sure how reliable it is with changes in technology. But I wanted to see if I could get a confirmation about whether my fiance needs to wait for a package from the embassy or just schedule the interview on USTRAVELDOCS? We've reviewed the requirements and have everything we think we need and ready to schedule the interview, but not sure about this part.

Thanks!

Once the case status is Administrative Processing petitioner gets an email from the Embassy stating you are good to schedule the interview appointment. The beneficiary can try and schedule the appointment at ustraveldocs.com, but keep in mind most of the time the system will not let you do it right away, you will see something like: your request to schedule the interview will be considered. It doesn't take them longer than 1 business day to approve the request. Then after request approval email beneficiary can proceed and pick date and time. After this is completed beneficiary gets an email from the Embassy with the list of scanned documents they want to receive by email prior to interview-this is packet 3. Packet 4 I believe is a scheduled interview confirmation. I hope this helps.
