Hello VJ family,

I leave tomorrow night to Jamaica to prepare for the possible Stokes interview on Friday. I have looked on the internet and at links I was provided before for the last few weeks now to see if I can get my head wrapped around what questions they might ask. I know there are a few persons on here that applied for K1 like my fiancé. Thing is most of the questions are centered around persons who are living together and please excuse if I am being redundant. But looking at the questions without having lived with my fiancé, there is a lot that we may not be able to answer. I was wondering outside of the usual how we met, etc etc what other types of questions could I be asked in a Stokes that would be relevant to a K1 applicant and not CR1..I have tried to Google K1 Stokes but nothing really comes up for K1.

thanks all in advance.

Some possible K-1 Stokes questions could be as followed:

1. How many rooms in your fiance's home? Describe the inside of your fiance's home.

2. What ins your fiance's mother/father's middle name? What are their birthdays?

3. What are the names of your fiance's siblings? What are their children's names (if any)?

4. When was the last time you made love?

5. What kind of car does your fiance drive?

6. What did your fiance have for dinner last night?

7. How many pets does your fiance own? What are their names?

8. Discuss in detail your future wedding plans.

9. What was the last movie your fiance watched?

Omg!! Good Luck! I've been following your thread/story because my husband is 18 years younger than I am also, so I very interested in your experience.

I'm rooting and prayers go fit you both!

Over thinking can convolute the brain, once a relationship is real the negative is out the window

Of course they are aware that you both have not yet lived together, so they wont ask where tthe phone situated

in the bedroom however they will prob ask the questions that lovers chit chat about on the phone when

apart from & missing each other, whats the boss name , whats your partners best friend name, school

attended, kids names & ages, what one does at work & stuff like that and they may ask one question

and that's it, a very nervous behavior will costs lots of questions...this here, you both should pray & relax

B4 going in , and think the reality here is yea or nay no one will be executed (for self pacifying ) Now

quit stressing . breathe and think all the way to JA....Victory is mine.

I'm a little confused, at what point do you know if you are doing that type of interview? Is it if you are doing

a 2nd interview at the embassy? I kinda thought they do that during the AOS.

My situation is unique but not rare. My fiancé did not do well at his first interview and was initially denied a visa. But through guidance from the vets here, I was able to quickly turn things around and was granted a second interview with me in attendance as well. Hope I cleared that up for you.

If they ask this or anything about your sex lives, it's highly (if not completely) inappropriate for a K-1 interview. One response is, "If you want an answer to that question, please put it in writing, in an e-mail, to me with copies to my two U.S. Senators, and include the name and e-mail address of your Section Chief. I'll be more than happy to answer questions on other subjects."

I thought it was perfectly legal for them to ask questions about your sex life. thanks for the feedback because I would be uncomfortable answering that question but would if I had to.

Jawaree, I know you are absolutely correct. But I have no idea of what to expect and I am such a control freak and just like to know or understand what I am up against. I don't know his mother or father;s middle name that's crazy, I was married before and never knew his mothers middle name lol. I don't even know all of his brothers and sisters names ( his has 7) and I am not going to try and remember them now. I know where he falls in the line of 8 children. Praying is the best advice. I know everything and vice versa of what you named above and hopefully they do not Stoke us but if they do.. I would like to understand that they wont be asking me things as if we lived together to trick us into another denial. Your words are wise and comforting. I am sure we will be Ok.

I appreciate that. I would like at this point to think that it isn't about age but just that my petition was light and my fiancé didn't interview well. Age should not be a factor even though we know in reality it is.I am going to support my fiancé and praying for a positive outcome this go round. They told congress they needed more proof so I am taking more proof. I believe that because there are red flags that it requires more than just an average petition. Had I known this before I put my petition in then this trip would probably not be taking place. But as Jawaree said I am overthinking it. I am just so excited to see the man that I love once again that for whatever reason I am going again almost doesn't matter( I said almost lol) thanks again for your support. and good luck to you as well.

Good Luck... Put it all in God's hands and He will work it out. Just the fact that you are taking an impromtu trip 1,500+ miles away for a 15-30 minute interview should be enough to prove something! I will pray for you guys and hope he can come home with you soon!

P.S. I know you are excited to see him! I was in the same excitement a couple months ago... Safe Travels!

Best Wishes,

Ashley
