Getting Packet 3 - Haiti [edited title]

Hello I had a question on what I can do about getting my process moving. I applied as the petitioner for a k1 visa. It was approved by NVC on August 31, 2015. I received the letter for NVC on September 10, 2015. I called into the Haiti embassy and they said they received my package but it hasn't reached the consulate. My case status still says in transit. I called them again and they told me that my fiancé should file the ds 160 and create an account at ustraveldocs which we did and today he shall be going to pay the fee. My question is what shall I do to get my case moving cause i did all they told me to do but my case still says in transit even though they have received it. I have emailed papcons@state.gov and ustraveldocs and they keep telling me the same generic message. I am getting impatient because my mother has become very ill and its been stressful with out my fiancé here with me in my time of need. I don't know what to do! please help!

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Email Example for Package 3.doc

use this example email copy it to a word document and type in your information for Package 3. It will take them a couple of days to respond. papcons@state.gov. I have also include an example of the Welcome Letter and the instructions what they will look like, it will have your fiancé or your information on it. Your fiancé will need the Welcome Letter in order to do the Medical Exam. But you will also receive the Welcome Letter and K-1/K2 instructions in the mail in 2 to 3 weeks.

  • As of November 3, 2016 We received an email in regards to not receiving in the mail the Request for Evidence (RFE) , come to find out they really didn't need any additional information. So now the have to wait another 120 more days before we can get an interview or approval. This is some BS.
  • As of February 7, 2017, We received in the mail Interview Date for AOS on March 20, 2017

Give them a couple of weeks Or maybe they don't have it loaded into there system yet, I don't know. I received my package 3 information in the mail along with the letter from the NVC. Try emailing them again Friday, papcons@state.gov and ustraveldocs.

Hi I've been experiencing the same thing. The case left the nvc center since 8/28/15 and

my status still says in transit to the PAP consulate. This is so frustrating because I'd like my fiancé here by thanksgiving. Does anyone know how soon the appointment can be scheduled once we receive the packet 3? We hope to get an interview soon so we can get the ball rolling. Do we still have to use Haiti messanger?

Yeah I think you still need to use Haiti messenger. But I'm not sure. But the wait is killing me but I read that it takes 4-6 weeks for it to change so Monday is 4 weeks and I will email them again because dhl says it was delivered and signed for on sept 3 2015. So hope all works for you

I went to www.dhl.com clicked Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what Nvc said your's might have left NVC

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A

* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Haiti / You Choose your Country

So mine left August 31 2015

I would put EXP 31 AUG 2015A

And just put a 5 day range when yours could have left

you don't use Haiti messanger aanymore... I just saw it online

Hey yesterday my case was changed also to ready but now there are no available appointments. I called them and they told me I just have to check back constantly for open appointments. But thanks and hope all goes well with you
