I have finished up my N400 forms and am sending under the 5 year gc criteria. My last one was rejected a couple of years back because I made the silly mistake of writing the wrong year on my check :(. So this time I am a bit paranoid if you havent already noticed. :)

So any tips/thoughts that I should be sure I have done before I send? Something you wished you had done at the last minute or remembered? Would be nice checklist that others can use also. Thank you all.

One of the things i noticed somewhere was that one person had also sent in their state ID copy as identification. I am not doing that, has anyone any thoughts on it?

USCIS loves it if you submit using ACCO binding at the top. My lawyer is a former USCIS adjudicator and submitted my application just how they want it.

You're going to be required to bring your state id to the interview anyway but is there a reason why you can't make a photo copy of your state id/drivers license and include it? It's not a reason to deny your application though

More of a temporary rejection problem (vs denial)- send with a new check and good to go

Thanks. Yes of course i can make a copy and include it

They do reject an applicaton due to wrong date on the check, my rejection letter explicitly states-incorrect date on check
