Hi everyone,

We filed my AOS last October without the EAD because I thought it would not be that long to process it as from what I've heard from other filipinas going through the same process as mine. Unluckily, it turned to be a pending case....

So we decided to file my EAD. After my biometrics, we haven't heard anything from this yet...

I already had my AOS interview a couple of weeks ago and just this week, I received an email that says, they already mailed a "welcome letter" and my green card will be followed within 60 days...

Is there anything that I can do for my EAD? We paid $180 and tt seems to be a useless thing now. Is there a way to get a refund?

I keep wondering, actually, if filing for an EAD at the last minute would cause my husband to get his green card in hand faster. The fee would be totally worth that!

Congratulations on your green card.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.
