90 days before 02/02/2016 is 11/04/2015 by the way.

Waw yes correct this is what i have found in the calculator too

The calculator worked perfect. My wife will file by 10-4-2015. Sorry to "bump" on someone's else's thread, but this was a huge help to us, as we are putting together paper work, to file by first week of October.

yes correct she can file by the first week of October, happy to know this thread helped you and your wife

Thank you!!! Not there for a long time but I'm definitely bookmarking that page :)

yes , good for you

Just remember, 90 days is NOT the same as 3 months!

More than one person here has made that mistake and been rejected for it.

yes correct its almost 3 months but its not exactly 3 months , the calculator helped a lot

You know you don't actually have to file exactly 90 days before the expiration of your Green Card. Some people seem to think that their application has to arrive at USCIS on that particular date... Just relax, you'll be fine even if you send it 2 weeks before your GC expires.

Yes correct, when the window open you can file anytime during the 90 days window but better to file early, , you are not required to send your package to USCIS in the first date your window open

its possible to send the application to remove the conditions 10 or 15 days after the first open date , or may be more , just send the application before the expiration date , i know that i still need a lot of time before i have my package ready , so i'm not going to send my package as soon as the 90 days come

yes, and it's worth noting that there is no advantage to sending it sooner or later within the window. If, for example, your aim is to apply for naturalization asap, the clock on that starts ticking from the date of your ORIGINAL green card--nothing to do with when you applied to remove conditions.

The advantage is that the earlier your send the application, the earlier you will (hopefully) have your new Green Card. With the current processing times of 6+ months for CSC and 9+ months for VSC, I sent the application in as soon as I could.

But it doesn't matter because you have your extension letter.
