Hello everyone,

Now it's our turn to file my I-751 next week (March 8th). I have gathered most of my supporting documents, just need to organize and assemble them and maybe look through them thoroughly before we send them out. My two year GC will expire on June 8th, 07 and we have planned for a three weeks' vacation to Malaysia on the last week of May till mid June. So when I get back from our vacation, my GC would have expired. But I'm hoping I will get an extension letter before we leave for the vacation.

Can anyone here assist me to look through the following evidences whether there are enough to support the removal of conditions of my Permanent Resident status? Here goes :-

1) A covering letter signed by me (the petitioner)

2) Complete I-751 signed by me and my husband (USC)

3) A $275 check for the petition and biometrics services fee

4) Copy of my Permanent Resident card (front & back)

5) Copy of my passport

6) Certified true copy of Change of Name (from maiden to married name)

7) Copy of two months Checking & Saving Accounts Statements

8) Copy of our Credit cards (showing the same account number)

9) Copy of Life Insurance Policy (showing I am the primary beneficiary)

10) Copy of Retirement Plan

11) Copy of Health Insurance

12) Copy of IRS Transcript - 2004-2006 Federal Tax Returns File jointly

13) Copy of Drivers Licenses (showing the same home address)

14) Copy of Car Insurance (showing both our names)

15) Copy of my past pay stubs (showing home address)

16) Copy of my student loan documents which my husband (USC) is the co-borrower

17) Copy of Verizonwireless statements (only my husband's name on bill but it shows

family share plan)

18) Copy of our previous travel documents and an airfare invoice for a vacation that we

have planned in May 2007.

19) Envelopes that were addressed to both of us (showing same home address)

20) Photos (trips, vacations, family pictures etc.)

Well guys, do you think that these documents are more than enough or have I missed out something? Would appreciate your responds. Thank you so much :) .

You have plenty of evidence to send along with your I-751. It usually takes around 3 to 4 weeks to receive the NOA, which extends your GC for a period of one year, with employment and travel authorization.

Make sure you take the NOA with you for re-entry purposes upon your return from your vacation.

Good luck for a speedy approval. I have been waiting since September, 2006 for mine.
