Digital Signatures in place of a physical signature?

Hey folks,

So I messed up on my way back to Canada from my last trip to the USA.

My Montreal Consulate interview is on Monday and I printed off a newly dated "Fiancee letter of intent" document (Dated September 5th).

However, I forgot to get her to sign it. ):

I have her digital signature, and was able to apply it to a PDF of the letter and it looks great.

The other option is to have my fiancee print, sign, and scan another copy of this letter and email it to me - but that'll be pretty much the same thing, no?

What do you folks think - has anyone had to do this before?

Thanks :)

The other option is to have my fiancee print, sign, and scan another copy of this letter and email it to me - but that'll be pretty much the same thing, no?

Okay, thank you for letting me know.

If I were to get my fiancee to print, sign, scan, and email the document to me, would that be workable?

If that isn't workable, would they still be able to approve me contingent on me mailing them that document (say in a few days if we couriered it)?

Thank you :)

Most probably. However, please be aware that it can add weeks to the delivery of your visa since the Montreal Consulate is very slow to process what is mailed in.
