Well I certainly hope so too but I just don't understand how when neither side will actually talk to each other!! I mean the kids in Iran are taught before they start their very first day at school to shout "death to America, death to Israel". They say it as they leave the masjid as well. When hatred like that is drilled into you at an early age, I really fail to see how the people who grew up in that environment can be at all diplomatic.

I really think this will be the end of times if this does happen and that is exactly what they are shooting for, Bush included. Scarey stuff.

I think overall, the civilian population there is like the civilian population here. They don't want war. A good majority like western culture, they just don't like the government, just like we don't particularly care much for their government either.

I think there are also moderate factions inside Iran who don't want war and are at odds with the hardliners. I think we saw some of that in the recent hostage drama with the UK sailors.
