So I received a written letter from the Montreal American consulate stating two things, proof with the intent to move permanently for the foreseeable future to the USA and, intent to immigrate to the USA.

Now I don't know know how much I can prove to the embassy that I have every intention to move permanently to the USA but isn't going through this frustrating process evidently enough? Has anyone inVJ been through this? And what defines "proof"?. In what format do they request the proof? Or is it simply a written letter stating my sincerity regarding the issue. I'm afraid again that they will correspond another 6-8 weeks. Man is this ever stressful
