Vaccinations - Need to schedule in HCMC?

Anyone have any insight how the vaccinations work? During the medical they determine what you need and then you make the appt?

Don't they do that for you at the medical center? Yours is 9/17?

Dunno - hence the question? Wife will call medical and vaccinations before but figured someone do before might know.

According to the consulate website, you do the medical exam first then do the vaccination. There's only one place for vaccination in HCM

Btw for vaccination you can just walk in. Try to come early as soon as they are opened. After you got all the vaccines, they will give you a yellow paper to bring it back to the medical exam place and they will put it in a sealed evenlope with your exam results.

Actually they will not allow you to schedule an appt. It is a walk-in basis only.

Fair enough - sounds like medical is relatively quick and the wife can shoot off to get the vaccinations done straight after.

FYI - wife go to Quarantine Service and could only get MMR. They run out of all the other vaccinations and stated won't get supplies in until middle October.

She received paper to give to medical and staff didn't think it was a big deal. Told her she could wait or get in USA.

My fiance had her medical yesterday @ IOM.

She was told there and by the folks @ IOM and the 3rd party service I got as supplementary help that it wasn't required she get vaccinations? WTH?

Her interview is next TUE a week from today?!

It's not required just means you have to do stateside before lpr.
