Police certificate question for K1 visa

My fiancee from India, went to UK for two short visits. One was May 2002 to Jan 2003 (about 9 months). Then she went to UK again from Aug 2004 to April 2005 (10 months). She lived in two different cities during this period.

Would she need police certificate from UK ? Is the 'need PC for staying more than a year' cumulative?

Yes she will need the police checks from the U.K. you must provide police checks from any country you have lived in since the age of 16 and for longer then 6 months.

Thanks - but our embassy instructions read as "Also note that if you have lived in any foreign country for more than a year after reaching the age of 16 years, you are also required to submit the PCC from that country" In our case, my fiancee stayed out for two separate 9 month period.

So the question is - do they look for cumulative stays in foreign country?

Sorry, your right it is a year and not 6 months in which case no she wouldnt need the PCC.
