Hi! I am currently scheduled for the interview oon the 22nd of sept but, its not a good time for us just yet to do it. Now, we have been waiting for October slots to open but its been very frustrating.

My husband and i couldn't decide on the dates. We want the interview to be scheduled on October 7 or the week of and my medical on the 23rd of September. I prefer to have my leave off work on Wednesdays since its not a busy time for me.

If we go as no show, will this affect our chances of approval? How many changes in schedule are we allowed before they charge us a fee again?

Would very much appreciate your input. Have you had any experience with this kind of situation?

Is it risky to wait for October slots to open up? Or is it ok that just in case, i have to do my interview on the 29th but still do my medical in the 23rd

Thanks,

Thanks,

Your still earl for Oct slots to open. You say your interview is 9/22 and your medical is 9/23. So if that is the case your going to get an RFE till your medical is completed and delivered to USEM. They will then complete your visa processing but it can take 2-4+ weeks before you have your visa.

A NO SHOW is not recommended it will not bode well for getting a visa approval.

You are allowed 2 cancellations, then you will have to pay another visa interview fee and have to wait a 90 day penalty period before you can reschedule.

Decisions. What will you do?
