4 months short for CRBA (split)

Hi everyone. My husband is a US citizen and we applied for a CRBA in Manila. We completed the checklist except the 5 yr physical presence which we only found out when the consul told us during our interview. They told us that We are short of 4 months to complete the 5 years. They told us to review the dates in the passport and we are given 90 days to submit additional dates ro prove that he stayed for 5 years and we double teiple checked already and it is really short of 4 months. what is the best thing to do now?
