Sending packet to NVC electronically as a zipped attachment

Hello Everyone,

Is it okay to email documents to NVC as a zipped attachment?

Because of large size, I zipped my documents and emailed them last week. However, I have not received any confirmation email from NVC yet. When I called, the case specialist said he cannot see it in his system.

I am now worried because I was told (by a friend of mine) that the NVC will not reply if emails are wrongly send to the nvcelectronic email adddress. Do they respond/send confirmation/denial email?

Did anyone has emailed to NVC as a zipped file? Please share your experiences.

Must be a PDF attachment, not a zipped file.

What country is the interview taking place in? Electronic submission of documents to the NVC for interviews in Nepal is not an available option. (incorrect information lined out)

Actually, looks like it is the other way around. Nepal (KDU) is one of the few countries where electronic submission is the only option. Otherwise, I would have prefer to send the physical mail.

I talked with a case specialist this morning. She says it is okay to send the zipped file of the PDFs. However, she is not sure how long it will take to have the system to show my electronic submission.

Normally, how long does it take (from your experience) for the NVC to reply that the documents have been received after an electronic submission? One of my friend says she got it after 3 days which was pretty fast. However, in my case, it has been 7 days now. Please do share your experience.
