friends, i badly need ur help about DS-156 form , i mean my interview will be on march 12, the embassy sent me packet 4 already including the forms that i need to submit on the interview however, i tried browsing the US embassy manila site it says there that DS-156 will be filled-up online starting nov 2006, i mean what do i need to do about it? do i have to fill up DS-156 online or ill just used handwritten form? thanks alot... ur reply is a huge help for me..

My fiancee's interview was Feb. 16th and she told me that the embassy at that time was accepting the forms either way. I would highly recommend you fill it out online, though. When you do, it doesn't keep a record of it - all it does is print out a barcode at the bottom of the page. For example, Jinky had to redo her son's DS-156 about 3 times due to errors and she just threw away the old one as she made a new one with the corrections needed. If you just can't fill it out online, then I would stress about it too much.

You can use the DS156 forms in the packet, No worries..I had my interview last Feb 22, and my seatmates didn't have a problem...

I used the one online. My K1 seatmates used the one from the packet,and didnt have problems. We all got approved.
