I called the NVC 102 times this morning and couldn't get through, and this afternoon I got through after 49 calls.

They should consider hiring a few more customer service reps...

Anyways, my NOA2 was approved August 20 from California service center, 19 days ago. NVC still hasn't gotten my case. I know it usually takes 2-5 weeks so I'm hanging in there and waiting. Hopefully by this week or the next NVC will recieve my case.

I was talking to someone who got their NOA2 from Texas service center around the same time I did and theirs was already processed by NVC and sent to the consulate. That's making me a little nervous. Maybe it's because their case was at a different USCIS.

Did anyone else recently get their NOA2? Was your application recieved by the NVC yet? Were you approved by California or Texas service center?

I called NVC as well today and got our case and invoice numbers. Our NOA2 was august 24, TSC

They just received it, I called on friday as well and was told it wasn't there yet and today after i got the info I logged into the ceac site and the invoice hasn't been issued yet.

I know how frustrating it is, good luck and hope you get a case number soon!

When was your case sent off to the NVC? I'm getting anxious and I will call everyday.

Hey! So I filed at the very end of July and got my NOA1 the beginning of August. NOA2 came on the 14th of August and I called the NVC today - they said my packet arrived in the mail TODAY, but I'm not able to get a case number yet. It sucks, but at least they got it! I'll be calling back every day to see if I have a case number assigned yet.

I know its frustrating. I was waiting and I dont know why they call the system 'automated' when they say sorry busy and hangup. I got NOA2 7/17, I finally called NVC who was unhelpful and not pleasent just told me they already sent to Consulate 8/7 like I should have known that. They opened / assigned case 8/21 or some variant of that order. I still have never received any other confirmation physical/electronic since NOA2 which seems pretty odd change in the process.

Finally I just kept calling and a very pleasant and helpful gentleman gave me NVC case # and IIN then you can get some sort of update w/ that number. We also had to manually request the info packet as my fiance never received(yet) that either :/ I think via the CA SC. Everyone is different with diff countries, there was also a holiday in there and you are still in the window. GL

Lian and David have it right 25-35 days

or go the easy route,

send NVC an email and they email you back when they are done with your case

include your uscis number in the subject line

and both your name and date of birth,

and the beneficiaries name and date of birth

tell them you are requesting all that good info,

like iin and bin #,

ya'kno, all the stuff that's driving you crazy now

then, just wait

(and trust)

I don't always get my posts deleted on V.J., but when I do it's a good indication I was right and they couldn't handle it !!!

I got approved on August 11, I called NVC several times last week, but they kept saying no case number assigned yet. Alas after 29days of waiting, I called again this morning, my case number and invoice number were dictated to me. Just keep calling, the best time to call them is 6:59am, good luck.
