Don't loose faith gargy.sarker these service centers are unpredictable you might see California doing faster now then next month you find its the opposite...again all cases are different just have some faith and pray nothing holds up your case...

Hopefully Im always praying nothing holds my case up that would be horrible and you are right about the centres. Lets hope for the best for all of us.

yes it is I also have the same NOA1 as you & it saying the same thing but I am at California and they say it 5 month to be approved at Texas so good luck to you.

September 17th, 2015 - NOA1 email and text received from USCIS. :)

March 11th, 2016 - Approval date ( routed to NVC) :dancing:

March 12th, 2016 - NOA2email and text received from USCIS.

March 24th, 2016 - Text n email ( Case sent to NVC for processing)

March 31st, 2016 - Case received at NVC ( called to confirm)

April 8th, 2016 - Case # and Invoice # Assigned ( 8 Days from NVC receiving)

April 11th, 2016 - Choice of Agent Completed. DS-261, Paid AOS Fee

yes it is because of the typhoon that the phillipine had that why their cases are being process very fast that ? I hear.

Hi All. We sent in our I-130 packet in on Sept. 10 and received our NOA1 on September 15th. Routed to Nebraska. Woot excited! :joy:

Cateogory: CR1

  • NOA1/Notice of receipt: Sept. 15, 2015
  • NOA2/I130 Approved: February 8, 2016 (NO RFE) :)
  • Process slowed down by us
  • Sent documents to NVC: April 11, 2016
  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)
  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

Now that October is here its high time we start seeing some NOA2 for September filers....I hope am not pushing my luck but if the K1(fiancee) visa and CR1 have the same timeline i just saw like 3 cases for September that have already been approved from California...i hope this is a good sign....Ours is on the way.... :joy: :joy: :joy:

Now that October is here its high time we start seeing some NOA2 for September filers....I hope am not pushing my luck but if the K1(fiancee) visa and CR1 have the same timeline i just saw like 3 cases for September that have already been approved from California...i hope this is a good sign....Ours is on the way.... :joy: :joy: :joy:

it has been a month since we received NOA1 via mail in 09/01/2015 . since then when I check USCIS website it's showing.

Case Was Received

On August 31, 2015, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number SRCxxxxxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by September 30, 2015

is that normal? september has passed already...
I wonder when we should expect the next update, and how many updates till they show Case Was Approved.

***a question. how to send additional documents to be added to the case ( currently processing in Texas Service Center ).
what should I write on the package? where to send it?

CR-1 Visa Process

09-01-2015: I-130 NOA1 ( Texas Service Center )
11-10-2015: Case Was Transferred to ( Potomac Service Center )
12-02-2015: Update on USCIS website ( Case Received At Local Office )

03-04-2016: NOA2 ( letter from Potomac Service Center )

03-07-2016: Sent to NVC

03-07-2016: NVC received our case. (that's what they said over the phone, idk how they received it the same day it was sent)

03-17-2016: Case Number & IIN Issued

03-17-2016: Choice of Agent DS-261

03-18-2016: AOS Fee Paid

03-23-2016: IV Fee Paid

03-28-2016: DS-260 Submitted

03-30-2016: AOS & IV Package sent to NVC
03-31-2016: NVC Received AOS & IV Package / Scan Date

04-04-2016: NVC Added AOS & IV Packets to the System

04-28-2016: Case Complete
