Finally checked our case online haven't checked for like 2 weeks and yes there it was CASE WAS APPROVED on 19th jan finally to NVC...and the N400 interview scheduled at least we wont be stuck in NVC coz we will update our case from permanent residency to citizen and it will go faster...Thanks God :joy:

I just found out that I got approved yesterday.

Priority date Sep 2nd

Approved Jan 26th 2016.

Today my case is transferred to NVC so I will be waiting to get my case number and IIN now.

The cases are not approved on the base of the date.

They are for the month so by the end of the month of January as per USCIS calcs. they should be done with all the case before sep 2.

in any case its finally time for all the september filers. cheers.

I don't know but I've checked cases with same NAO1 date as mine 9/18 and they are being approved. I'm certainly sure that they are also working on Sept right now for Nebraska. I'm using the USCIS case tracker app with 500 counts before and after my date 9/18.

Lastly we received the RFE mail and it asked to submit one photograph of my husband because the other didn't meet the criteria. Confused if they need mine too or not. Thank God, atlast we got atleast!

" The photo of X submitted with your petition is not acceptable because the photo must conform with the specifications as listed below. You must submit (1) one acceptable photo of X"

My question is this X is my husband and does that mean we only have to send his passport size photo and not mine. And how to arrange the RFE, like do we have to write the cover letter? If so then what to write in there and where to put it. What Ink should we use for the felt pen to write on the back of the photo(forgot). Kindly help us with the process,though its easy but don't want anymore mistakes.

Do they do applications out of order? Mine was received on August 31st with priority date of September 1, 2015 and I still haven't heard anything from them.
