They seem to be working on August filers now. There is a forum for Nebraska filers. Last person who commented had filed August 10th. I think it's def gonna be February for us September filers.

I'm growing impatient now as well. I was fine before but I find myself checking my case online every other day now ?

USCIS website updated as of today Jan 12, they are working on July 2nd (as of Nov 30th). What kind of stupid update is this? May 2nd, June 2nd and now July 2nd?

This is what it is;.. have to deal with it...

Anyhow, that means by 31st of December they have completed upto 2nd August and by end of this month they might reach 2 Sep.

And my PD is Sep 2.

My wife left back to the US today for the first time after our marrige and she is pregnent too.

I am already missing her. Cant wait to get processed and be with her.

This information as far as I'm aware is incorrect.

1. You cannot apply for a K-1 visa which is a fiance visa if you are already married.

2. I have filed my I-130 and have visited my husband twice on my B1/b2 visa. I just came back from spending Christmas with him and I'll be returning soon to attend his graduation. Your visitors visa does not become invalid unless this is something that is specific to India. I have never heard of this before.

3. The procedure is to travel with both passports, the one with your maiden name which has your visa, and the new one with your new name, plus your marriage certificate and evidence that you plan to return to India ( e.g. letter from employee, student status letter if you are a student, return ticket etc.)

Travelling with two passports.. I have personally faced a problem with different name. Although I have my valid IDs with me. I dont know if that would be okay.

First of all, in any case except life and death situation, you are not allowed to travel on a non-immigrant visitor visa to usa if your are married and has filled a petition.

THIS IS NOT TRUE, YES YOU CAN TRAVEL, MY WIFE AND MANY OTHER SPOUSES DID IT. The only variable is if the CBP officer suspects for whatever reason that you are going to overstay or simply stay indefinitely. Then you have to be prepared to prove otherwise, there is a luck factor here but most spouses make it successfully. Now if the spouse does not have a B1/B2 visa and applies for one, I do not believe the embassy is going to approve when they find out there is a petition filed for IR1/CR1 .

in your case, you have change your passport and your name on the passport, which make your USA visitor visa invalid. This is because when you renew or change name in your passport you are require to update your USA non-immigrant visitor visa info by going to the embassy after which the embassy pastes an updated visa page to your new/renewed passport.

NOT TRUE EITHER, MY WIFE ENTERED LAST TIME WITH TWO PASSPORTS, ONE WAS EXPIRED WITH THE VISA AND A NEW PASSPORT.

Therefore I suggest you wait for your approval of your petition or apply for K-1 visa.

I took my husband's last name and travelled but never had difficulty ? Now m worried ??

Do not become nervous with the CBP officer, tell the truth, have a copy of your NOA1, Marriage certificate, round trip itinerary and any other documentation that proves ties back to your country.

I read somewhere they were routing Vermont filers to California. Maybe that slowed down California a bit considering how fast persons were getting approvals. So the approvals may not come as fast now?

I only received this email abd not any mail. Would itbhelp if my husband goes to uscis office after getting a mail. Please help im freaking out.
