I also got done with the ds-261, but didn't have a check to pay the AOS. (Not used in Denmark no more.)

Can you please elaborate about receiving an email from NVC informing you about your case and invoice number?

I am little confused, Salyin's NVC Wiki guide specifically says that NVC does not notify with emails prior to DS-261.

Did you include a G-1145 form (e- notification) in the package you sent to USCIS?

Perhaps NVC is starting to notify electronically to some, most or all applicants who submitted a G-1145 along with the I-130 package.

I am really excited seen more applicants around my NOA2 and NVC received dates getting case numbers.

Congratulations again.

Yes sure i can. I wrote them a email and they wrote me back the information.

I did email them about 10 days ago, 2 times.

So i guess they had my email in the system with my USCIS number.

At least that is what i think happened.

We forgot to put in the G-1145 and even if we had it is not used at NVC as fare as i can see in all the guides.

Hope that helps just a little.

Yesterday, we were mailed the notification of approval. Y'all know we knew about it since we called the NVC before. We were able to add our email addresses when we were asked the questions they ask before they provide you with the tracking number.

The welcome letter you receive via email contains the email address and the instructions to follow when you need to inquire the NVC about your case. It also includes the bills to pay. In our case, we've had an attorney since the beginning, so we don't do the DS-261. We were just mailed the AOS and IV fees invoices, which we have already paid through our attorney.

We only have pending now completing the AOS and the DS-260. I don't know about your situations here, but we had to choose a joint sponsor, since we both have been working and living together for more than 3 years in Spain and that makes us not to meet the minimum required.

Did your IV fee open up right away ?

Yes, yesterday we had both the AOS and the IV fees open. Our attorney paid through https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/.

Again, our process might be different here, since we didn't have to submit the DS-261.
