I like how multiple polls on a similar subject can be made in one thread!

and by the way...I love chocolate but don't eat it every day(more like once or twice a week...so in moderation I guess), I love coffee and drink it 1-2 times a day, and eating a piece of chocolate while drinking coffee is VERY good i.m.o. ...and also I like cafe mochas sometimes. Coffee+Chocolate=YUM :)

Need a bit more specifics here....

Not all chocolate is the same.

should be one for.. do you die for DARK.. chocolate. or are you a milk chocolate lover..

My daughter is a Mgr for Godiva Chocolate here in Oregon..

just a tad spoiled with the quality I can get..

But she is still surprised when she looks in my fridge and sees that I still have some truffles there..

I love to savour what I have.. A good bit of bitter dark chocolate.. mmmmm

but.. then.. if it was just a simple chocolate bar.. ie hersheys.. that is a fast candy fix. and not the same as .. enjoying . .. yummies...

Love my coffee.. got to have it fresh ground.. have my single pot on my desk here at work and a lil grinder on the shelf.. so.. can have fresh.. and best..

YUMMMSSSS

Never drink coffee, don't like the stuff, unless it's an iced mocha frappacino or something similar...and we KNOW that's not really coffee! LOL ;)

the darker the better... and because of that i am spoiled too... i have a lovely collection from around the world... my husband is from holland... smack in the middle of chocolate heaven... belgium, germany, switzerland, etc... i keep it in my freezer... and it lasts, because it doesnt take much to satisfy the craving... sometimes we have little tastings... comparing them, rating them... rinsing our mouths with milk in between... and i like it pure... dont want it with flavorings... an occassional pecan or cashew... but thats it...

dark chocolate actually has benefits for your body... should eat a little bit each day as it is GOOD FOR YOU!!!!! can you imagine?? something so yummy actually being GOOD for you???

oh, and janet, could you see if your daughter could pull some strings and bring back the pecan croquants??? those were one of my absolute favorites from godiva!!!! i miss them so :crying::crying::crying:

Cool, that new multiple poll feature! Thanks for pointing it out.

As to you questions: I sometimes like chocolate but are rather picky when it comes to quality (no American chocolate, ideally more than 70% cocoa). I can't get enough coffee; I'm drinking up to ten cups a day (usually more like 6). Found out a few weeks ago that more than 4 cups of coffee a day reduce your risk of breast cancer, so now I have an exuse. And I like chocolate in my coffee.

The way to find out if you love someone or not, is by talking to them.

The more you talk to them the more you either hate them or love them.

Mochachino from Starbucks . . . hits the spot . . . but, I have to avoid it as it gets a bit high on the caloric side. Chocolate and Coffee . . . together or separate . . . some of life's little pleasures.

BTW, this is a much friendlier poll than one that I will leave nameless. Or does chocolate/coffee cause the bloodpressure to rise too???

:D
