My Filipina fiancee worked in Singapore for a while, so that's on our list of clearances we need. We've been going over the documents and had a couple of questions. Anyone have experience (especially recent) with the Singapore COC for a foreign worker?

Here's our present questions:

1) Appeal form - what is this for? Is that for all COC requests or only for appealing something on the record you believe is incorrect? What should be put on it if it's for all requests?

2) Identification No (NRIC) - As best I can tell, a foreign worker who was not a permanent resident in 2008-2010 would not have been issued an NRIC. Is that correct? Is there a number that should go here for such a worker, or should this be left blank and only passport number filled in?

3) Handphone Number (#14) - If you don't own a Singapore phone, is this simply left blank or would she put her Filipino phone number?

4) #15 residential address, this is the current address at which she resides, not her address when she worked in Singapore, correct?

5) #19, Country for which COC is to be submitted is the US, correct?

6) #21, purpose for which COC is required. For a non-Singapore national in K-1, do you select Marriage or do you select Migration in 21 and then marriage to a foreign national in 22?

7) on Educational Attainment, do you check all that apply or just the highest one?

Are there any other sections that either don't need to be filled out for a Filipino worker or that have unusual things of which we should be aware when filling them out?
