Our CEAC status just changed to issued as well as of the 6th. I've read it can take three days to get to loomis once being issued, so we are hoping we will recieve our waybill from Loomis by tomorrow.

My interview letter mentions my documents like Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate marked as document status "J" and "J" means in document status code definition: The NVC only received a photocopy of the document, you must present the original document ast the time of your interview.

However for both documents I have submitted the originals and copies to NVC.

Does it means they have lost my originals??? Does anyone has experience about anything like this before? What should i do?

For anyone wondering about processing times;

We had our K-1 Visa Interview on and were approved October 2nd. Our status on CEAC changed from ready to issued on October 6th. We got an email from Loomis a couple of hours ago giving us a waybill number, then about an hour later another email saying the visa is ready for pick up (October 8th). So in total 5 business days not counting the weekend.

They didn't lose it. When you go to the consulate for the interview, you will see that they have all the paper you submitted in their hand. Just let the person behind the booth know that you submitted originals. He/she will bring them out. If not, they will work with you on how to get them back.

To Cr1/IR1: Do you have to send packet 3 to Montreal? I've read somewhere that we don't have to send it.

I was wondering that myself because I didn't get a Pkg 3, but, I did down load it off the Montreal website and submit it, just in case it was missed on their part.

I keep searching about it. I found out it's only for people who didn't go through NVC.

ohhh, very interesting. You think they would specify that on the consulate website. Thanks for clarifying!!Sheesh

I was hoping more members will answer my question. I think I put my question in a wrong thread. I will post it again in another topic.
