dwheels76 - is this list for every US Consulate, or just Montreal, and, is it all Visas or just the CR-1/IR-1? I don't understand why K-1's get an interview before Spousal Visas : (

The Case Complete to Interview thread are for those going through NVC. The focus is IR/CR category but we have F2A, E category also.K1's don't go through NVC except to get a case#. They control their interview.

It was created to answer the question like here "How long after case Complete will I get n interview. So in 2012 we started collecting data and updating when people get interviews.

Why do K1's get to schedule themselves have no idea that's a Department of State question.

click on the link it will answer your questions

I had my interview today at the Montréal location & was approved. I just wanted to let people know that although there's been a lot of people saying to go for when they open (7:30am) they do not let anyone in earlier than a half hour before their scheduled time. I came around 7:15 & waited until the doors opened, I was about 8th in line. When it was time for the lady to check my interview letter she told me to come back in 45 minutes. I didn't mind because there's a Starbucks right down the street. I met a girl who was scheduled for later that day who did the same thing & they turned her away as well & told her to come back 15 minutes before her appointment.

Here I am .. my interview is on 20th Oct 8:00 PM at MTL..... I checked my status online CEAC.... it says READY with the description

"Your case is ready for you to schedule an interview at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal. If you have already scheduled an interview appointment, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the Consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: ...."

I have received the letter for interview .... Is there any step i need to do online for confirmation???

Hi guys. I had my interview on Sept. 29th and my CEAC status is still "Ready". My interviewer said I should receive my visa end of last week or beginning of this week but I haven't received any emails yet. It's been 7 business days now. I've tried emailing montreal_iv but they just replied saying my files are with consular officer for review and that if there's any updates, they will advise me.

Has anyone have this issue? I've been reading up on this website and everyone who had the interview at the beginning of the week gets the visa by the end of the week and people who had interview at the end of the week gets the visa beginning of next week.

my interview is for Oct 20th and I keep going to the CEAC website and it's the same as yours, it says, "Ready" blah, blah, blah...................

I registered online and still, nothing has changed. I guess there's just a delay in them updating the website, or, they are doing things differently.

I think it'll be "Ready" until after you are done with the interview. Then, it changes to "Administrative Processing". After that, it changes to "Issued". But mine has been "Ready" even after 9 days of the interview and approved. :(
