We got notice that our petition is being sent to London and I now need to get the information together for my co-sponsor. My fiance is the petitioner but we have a co-sponsor. Do I need to gather information for both of them?

Also - do I need to include everything from the list below? Or do I only need to include certain parts? Please help!

(A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance
(B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)
© If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern
(D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

For a London K1 interview-

Only from the sponsor with the income. They don't require your fiance to sponsor.

(B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent <-----that would satisfy London. Bring a tax return or some pay stubs if it makes you nervous every to have only the employer letter. London likes employer letters and have approved many with only that.

No to lists of stocks unless he is using that to sponsor because he doesn't have enough income. If his salary is good, he doesn't have to list his assets investments. Just leave it all blank.

Yes. You need documentation that shows your fiance's income.

Thank you for your reply Nich-Nick,

Would an employment letter &/or bank letter/statement, from my US fiancee be sufficient for this?

Employment letter is good. Would a bank letter prove he/she is employed and what the annual salary is?

Thanks,

My fiancee is in process of preparing a reference letter from her company, stating her role and salary. Will this be enough evidence of support. In addition, I've also printed out my bank statements showing some savings which I'm hoping can also be used as evidence, that I can help support myself too.

Please advise if you think this will be ok?

Confused. Does she own the company? She is self-employed?

The way you state she is preparing a letter sounds like she is writing and signing the letter.

Interview Clothes?

What would be suitable dress code for K1 interview, smart or formal? I'm thinking a Suit & Tie would be appropriate. Please can anyone who attended London interview, please let me know, if a suit & tie is ok? or would I feel overdressed?LOL
