seminar for immigrants going to US from philippines

hi everyone.. i just want to ask about seminar for immigrants..my mother will have her medical on sept 17th, 2015 and interview in US embassy on sept. 28, 2015.. (i am the petitioner her daughter).. i just want to ask about seminar cause i already forgot about this.. how to schedule a seminar? where to ask about this? is there a seminar everyday? walk in or need to make a schedule for her? when will she do the seminar? after medical or after interview? your reply would be much much appreciated..thank you!

• Pre Departure Orientation Seminar

Philippine law requires all departing Filipino emigrants or those leaving the country to settle permanently abroad to attend the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO). Only emigrants aged 12 years and younger are exempted from attending the PDOS. Although this is not a U.S. Government requirement, we do make this information available to all fiancé(e) and immigrant visa applicants. An information sheet regarding the CFO/PDOS seminar is attached to a visa packet to ensure that applicants are aware of this requirement.

For additional information (registration and counseling requirements, PDOS schedule, and schedule of guidance and counseling sessions), the applicant may visit CFO’s website at: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/

@cristina16.. thank you for your reply but i already went to that website before i even post my question here and i'm still confused. i tried calling their number but no answer that's why i post a question to look for somebody to help me with the straight to the point and very clear answer.

so i opened the website again and i figured it out that my mom should wait for her visa before she can attend the seminar, because 8 years ago,i haven't receive my visa yet and it's okay to attend at the seminar.. that's the thing that confuses me.

Your mom can do the CFO before or After the interview. If she does it before she will have to go back and get a CFO sticker in passport. MY wife did the CFO before her interview. She did it when she was getting her first passport for the process. After the interview when she got her passport back. She just went to CFO office show them her CFO certificate and had them put a sticker in her passport.

My wife told me that you have to schedule the seminar online at the CFO website. To just get the sticker you can do walk in and show the CFO certificate

I have a question to those who just had the cfo seminar. Their registration is 1 month valid. I just had my registration and reservation 35 days from now. I only knew that my registration is valid for a month thru a confirmation email. So should i register again? What about my scheduled seminar? Should i also cancel and schedule it again? They should post st their website that their registration is valid for 1 month. Smh
