I have two questions to ask you guys. First of all, is there a new g325a form that expires in 2017 because my fiance tells me there is, but on the downloads section of this site it still says expires 6/2015. Also, for the Philippines, do we need to do another g325a form after we get noa2? I thought we did not have to but I just want to make sure. Thanks.

Yes there is a new form that expires 6/30/2017. I used it when I sent off my application two weeks ago. I just checked the website, and it's reverted back to the expired version for some reason. Not really sure what the issue is with the website but that's where I got the new version from.

Ah, I found the issue. You need form G-325A! This has the new form with a valid expiration date but you can also use previous editions.

Always go to the source for your forms!! With what's riding on this, I dont know why VJ maintains a forms section or why anyone would pull from it.

No, you don't need G 325A during the interview in Manila. Check the US EMbassy Manila website for more specific details on the K1/K2 interview process and required documents. You will need a new G325A during AOS.

For a more updated forms, always check the USCIS website.

I just checked earlier, now USCIS has G325C (validity same as G325A) but you can use earlier version of the form. I am wondering what are the changes, haven't really made a closer look.

C has no place to sign except in a separate section asking about applying for refugee status and took out the parts about residence or job abroad and purpose of form. Weird.

Out of curiosity, I checked the B version and it has extra bits about US military service.

I would suspect other areas of government work call out different content versions of g-325* depending on their process or needs.

I guess we should look at A, B, C as content versions, not date or revision versions.

Here is what is important to note and should ease anyone's mind as to which version dated form should or can be used and that is "it doesn't matter". So what should guide you, is what is found on the landing page of the USCIS G325 page:

Edition Date

06/01/15. You can also use previous editions. (The edition date can be found at the bottom of the page on the Form.)

I think the guy who was updating the website on Friday, found he didn't have enough time. So, as the 5:00 whistle blew and he stopped everything and went home with only the job being partially completed.

You don't need another G-325A until after you are married and filing AOS

why are they releasing new editions of the forms if we don't have to use it. I actually got a liitle worried when I saw g325b after we file i 129f. But ofcourse it says you can use earlier version of the form so I feel releived.

I actually downloaded g325b and draft for AOS later on. Maybe i just have to re check when it is time to file for AOS.

No. The I-485 instructions state the required form is the G-325A Using the "b" form will only cause you problems
