Hello all,

I have a question about employment letter. I understand that you have to send an employment letter as a part of AOS financial documents. Do I send the original to NVC with AOS Packet or do I send the original to spouse to show at the time of interview?

Documents prepared to send as AOS Packet.

Bar-coded cover sheet

Completed 864ez form

Employment letter

3 years Federal tax return

5 months paystubs

Do I need to send anything additional like W2s for past year or 2?

And no I don't drive Uber.

Thanks for the second part of the question. I just gathered up my W2s for past 3 years.

W2S Are required for the last 3 years Paystubs they recommend at least the last 3-4 weeks

And no I don't drive Uber.

Can't follow VisaJourney guideline at times because of the W2s not mentioned on this site.

You are required to send only the tax return and W2 of the most recent tax year. tax return for second & third year is optional and usually people don't send it. in my opinion one should avoid to include extra documents which are not mandatory, to avoid any further complications. It also makes your packet too fat.

Sent only last year's tax transcript. W2s required only because we filed jointly. Included employment letter with 4 wks Paystubs.
