Hello all.. I am new to this form and so far everyone here is heaven sent. soo helpful with this horrible process.. Now a bit about myself and my "CASE" I am a USC i was LIVING overesea.. when we got married OVERSEA's we ended up filing for a visa to come to the states (so i can finish school) well... We filed on JUN 2006 and we just recieved a Interview date In march 2007.. I am soo happy for this day to come.. BUT, as i re-read the scanned interview letter for the 1000th time i noticed next to his nationality it says CR-1 and this whole time i thought we were undergoing the K3 (he is doing all the paperwork since the Embassy instructed me to move back to the states) now that I have read soo many things regarding ADMIN PROCESSING i am now scared half to death..

my question to anyone who can help me is...

1) If we have everything needed and we have a "GOOD SOURCE INSIDE" the embassy will this be a factor.. and he has clearance for pervious work in the American Embassy in Kabul.. Will that help our case..

2)If everything goes by planned will they issue that day or a few days later?

3)If he already submitted his MEDICAL REPORT requested by the embassy will he have to go for a second time before his interview comes up in March?

4) anyone who can help me i thank you soo much

i hope someone that has gone through your embassy will respond to you.

however - it seems that its NORMAL to be put on admin procesing automatically when going through yoru embassy. i beleive it for security checks that they do on names. so unless this was done before with his embassy work in kabul, im not sure taht there would be a way to skip that.

however - as you stated - you ahve a good inside source

can you ask them what to expect?

i hope someone else responds that has more info.

March INTERVIEW..

Over 90% pakistani men subject to AP/AR. Please visit pakistani forum where most members caught in AP/AR. My interview is in April 26th. I am also afraid of AP/AR, as the average waiting time 5 to 6 months after interview.

Medical report is valid for 1 year. If you already submit the report then they will not ask again to submit. With IR1/CR1 embassy mention in packet 4 take medical report on interview day.
