I mean this is just crazy..My husband got his I-140 approved in EB1 category in May, USCIS sent case to NVC at 4th and on 29th of june we recieve IV bill just on his name. We sent email on 29th of june, the same day to request to add me as his wife to the case and still no answer. It has been now more than 65 days, does somebody have experiences here with this?? I dont know if I should mail the request or what.. we were also approved expedite with our embassy but they will make us appointment after NVC get IV fee, ds-260 and supporting documents, but without me added to the case, this is not possible.. Any idea of what should we do??

In my case they only added me (I am the primary applicant) and not my wife and 2 kids. The reason I found out only after 2 months of calling and emailing them was that they lost the file that the USCIS send them and they only got the cover letter with my name Only. What you need to do is call (I don't think email is a good choice) and talk to a supervisor and explain what is going on. Then ask to send to the Supervisor directly the application to add you as his wife, along with any documents that the NVC will need so you may be cleared as soon as possible. I hate to tell you this and I honestly pray you do not suffer what I am suffering still but be prepared for delays.

I wish you Good luck

our cases are not similar but you have to remember that at the NVC we all more or less stew in the same pot. The only difference is which supevisor you get that might finish your case quickly. I would call on tuesday and try to get through to a supervisor right away. most likely you will be told that one is not available so hung up and try again. Unless you talk to a supervisor you will have to wait for a reply to your email, which in my experience takes forever.

Update: was able to speak to super nice supervisor yesterday in the morning and she added me to the case in like 5 minutes , while I was waiting on the line! :-) so we are getting IV invoice in next two days , thank you for great advice!
