But what mail do you get to the apartment that your wife and kid lives in? Where is the proof of you two living together?

By the way I am sending my docs by September 25th.

Thanks for your comment but your comment does not answer my query in anyway. If you have advice for me I am more than happy to act upon it.

She means you need to change your address consistently with your residence.

Hi VJ members,

Please see the cover letter below. In this letter we are trying to explain as to why the evidences have different addresses. Your suggestions/advices are much appreciated.

CONDITIONAL RESIDENT: X

CITIZEN SPOUSE: Y

ALIEN REGISTERATION NUMBER: XXXXXXXX

RE: I-751 PART 1, QUESTION 22.

Dear Sir/Madam,

My husband, X who is the conditional resident received his conditional green card on XXXX. I, Y and my husband X resided with my parents at XXX from XXX till XXX. In XXX my husband was offered a job and we moved into a new apartment the address of which is XXXX. My husband and I have been living in this apartment since XXXX.

The evidence we have provided to show status of our marriage covers both addresses. Some of the evidence to this date has my parents’ address. My parents own the house and we decided not to change the address on some of the evidence in order to avoid loss/theft of mail addressed to our new apartment. For example our joint account still has my parents’ address.

Some of the evidence that has my parents’ address XXXX is;

  • Letter of Health insurance explanation of family plan coverage from husband’s employer
  • Joint Bank Account
  • 2014 Joint W2

Some of the evidence that has our apartment address XXXX is;

  • Birth Certificate of our new born (XXXXX)
  • My (Petitioner) payslips
  • Lease agreement on my husband’s name

I hope the evidence provided along with the other evidence enclosed in the I-751 package is sufficient to verify the status of our marriage and to remove conditions on my husband’s conditional residency. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

Regards

Petitioner: XXXX

Conditional Resident: XXXX

On yesterday's post it said that the permanent address was still at the in laws and not at the address where you actually lived. I think that might be a bit of a confusion if that's still the case

I changed my address on the USCIS website so now my physical address is also the mailing address. But in this post I am trying to explain my situation to USCIS. So now my physical address is also the mailing address. What do you have to say about the cover letter?
