This is so depressing. On March 5, 2015, USCIS received our I-601 application. The only thing that has changed in six months' time is that the "last updated" field changed on March 17th.

That's all. Nothing has changed since then. CEAC has remained exactly the same, as well. We've done online inquiries and senator inquiries, both of which came back with only "it's been assigned to an officer".

Meanwhile, their site still says they are processing submissions for 4 months ago, and people keep reporting approvals as recent as May reception dates. We're so tired of this. There are about eleven other I-601 cases around ours case-number-wise (ranging from LIN1590745673 to LIN1590745820). One was approved in June, another in July, two approvals and one denial in August, and that's it. Five applications from March 5th and one from March 2nd are just sitting there.

Feeling hopeless.

... and frustrated.

Your case may be more complicated.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Filed an I-601 waiver with a received date of "May 4th 2015. Since uscis Nebraska office finally updated their processing times, we still haven't heard anything. We used an attorney to file. It took me 7 months to compile all the documents she wanted me to prep as well as affidavits prior to sending out our packet to uscis. The only thing so far she received was the receipt notice on May 13th. So frustrated! Called uscis they never give me any info unless I have my husband on the line since I'm the petitioner. Even when we talk to a tier 2 officer, we don't get a clear answer. The officer told me that the 4 month processing time means nothing. Some people can wait up to 2 years!!! What??? 2 years? So far they haven't requested any evidence or extra paperwork. How much longer? Where do I check to see the other case numbers around mine?
