Anyone with information, please respond!!!Here is the situation. I am a K-1 applicant for my Colombian fiancee. We are getting ready for our interview in Bogota. She lived for a year in Aruba about four years ago. She has her DAS (Police Certificate) for Colombia. Any ideas about getting one for Aruba. She called the Netherlands embassy in Bogota. She was told that since she has been out of Aruba for more than 2 years, she can't get one. Does this sound right?

THANK YOU so much for the information. I will be wiriting and calling to see if there is any way to speed the process. Do you know if they are likely to speak English there?

Regards the process so far, I have found it to be very easy. I sent I-129f in mid November and received approval (NOA2) on 15 FEB. Painless no RFE's. I read the threads thoroughly, supplied pictures of my visit to Quilla in September, a receipt from a hotel in Cartagena where we stayed (they listed her as my wife, Mrs. xxxxx, and I wrote a notation that I did not claim her as my wife, the hotel just put her on my room reciept that way), a number of e-mails, and that was it. I am aiming for an April interview date. I used the form examples as a guide and made sure that the packet was very organized....

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
