do we count weekends?

I've looked at previous posts, but none of them seemed to have a pointed answer to this question.

So when we were told to submit our AOS and EAD application within 90 days of getting married, we were also told that those 90 days included weekends. No probs, we submitted just in time.

When my then fiancé arrived in the US and the immigration officer stamped his I-94 with the expiry date, weekends were also counted there.

Now, however, that we submitted our response to the USCIS' RFE, I'm not sure as to whether or not we're to include weekends when counting the 60 days that they said was going to take to return with a decision. So now that it's their turn to move, do we exclude weekends?

Anybody got any ideas? I just need to know so I could be less crazy about waiting. Thanks!

Forget about the 60 day comment on the RFE. Its just a meaningless get out clause for USCIS when they're slow at processing your case, in most cases people's EADs are only delayed by the amount of time it took to receive and respond to the RFE. If you responded to the RFE in a timely manner then its still possible you could get it in the 90 day period, plenty of others have.

However, you can safely assume the 60 days will include weekends!

Figured as much Thanks! That's kind of encouraging, actually. After receiving their RFE, we responded in two days, and they acknowledged receipt of it within the next two days after that.
