What is his status in Italy?

He can;t choose the embassy, he will be told. Normally, one interviews in the country one lives in, but ONLY if the beneficiary is legally resident there. So if he is living in Italy illegally, he will need to go home to interview.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Yes but the problem is that i want to have my interview in Tunisia.Is that a problem if we write in the petition that my residence now is in Italy and then ask for the interview in the Embassy of U.S in Tunis?

Not really a problem. If you plan to return to Tunisia to complete the K-1 visa process, then use your address in Tunisia and list the consulate there on the I-129F.
