Interview cancelled WHAT?!?

I did not send the original to the NVC,my interview letter says J - bring the original. I just freaked out when I read on the police certificate that its only valid for 3 months! :( that means its long been expired .i obtained it just before posting the AOS and Civil package to NVC.

And when is it dated?

I think they will just ask you to send one in after the interview, worst case scenario.

The interview letter says one year, so just be honest and tell them you were looking at the letter and not the certificate itself.

Calling and complaining would make a difference. since they are scheduling now. It will have a positive effect

Anamta, I know you are freaking out, but on all the stuff we received (call to nvc before sending in the AOS and IV package, interview letter, and embassy website), it says that Pakistani police reports aren't requires because they don't show true character.

Anamata, don't freak out. i never sent in a police certificate and neither did my wife take one to the embassy and no issue was raised. You will meet many many people at the embassy who will have it. I know my wife freaked out a bit when she didn't had one but it's not a required document for Pakistan anymore.

thankyou guys,,i am just panicking so bad! one document missing can delay the visa issue to weeks! :( this is what scares me!

I just hope everything goes well tomorrow! I have waited 3 years for this !

Did you or anyone else receive the passport who was interviewed on October 01, 2015. My daughter has not received any call for passport pick up

Approved today! It was surprisingly easy once we got in. Prior to that, mostly anxiety. Will get it through courier in 14 days.

I'm treating myself to a myriad of junk food.

the guy told me you will have your passport within 10 days,did he say 14 days to you?? my case is under administrative processing

wont rest until i have my baby with the visa in hand!

Haha yepp! He said 14, but I'm gonna start pestering the courier guys in 10 days. It certainly is difficult to rest with the unexpected series of delays and what have you. Anyway, super glad that you got approved too. Congratulations!
