OMG I'm here and can't believe this. All The Pakistani VJ folk all cancelled. Here I thought at least one embassy was dong good. And no never have I seen this happen. A cancel here and there but not

So what was the process like?

Any major Do's or Don'ts that one wouldn't normally be aware of?

Please read the reviews for Islamabad embassy on the site. It will give you better idea of the process around buying tickets for the shuttle, where to leave your phone, etc.

One major thing you can do is just RELAX and don't panic. The process takes around 3-4 hours so just be prepared for it.

I didn't know it had parts? What's part one and what's part two?

Everyone with interview on October 1st may get their visas tomorrow or Monday if they opted for pick up. My husband picked his up today at 4 pm and the interview was on the 30th.

Yeah after the interview my husband told the CO that he didn't want his passport mailed since he didn't trust the mail service so he opted to pick it up at the AEG behind PTCL building in Islamabad.

guys i know this is too late to ask such questions ,,but did you all get a new police clearance certificate before the interview..the interview letter states a time of one year but the certificate says 3 months :(

i completely forgot about it and went with the interview letter statement!

I am freaking out right now!

Besides, the code said "unobtainable" so they shouldn't even request it.

Anamta, you don't need a new certificate. It's fine. We're also carrying copies of my wife's old one because we already sent the original to the NVC.

Besides, the code said "unobtainable" so they shouldn't even request it.

I did not send the original to the NVC,my interview letter says J - bring the original. I just freaked out when I read on the police certificate that its only valid for 3 months! :( that means its long been expired .i obtained it just before posting the AOS and Civil package to NVC.
