Yes the usc can also attend the interview although it isn't required.

The i864 for is updated to a new edition, best to just compete the new one just in case and bring it to the interview.

Can Permanent resident accompany the daughter. I just want to know if I can accompany my daughter for her F2B visa interview if I am in Pakistan or it is only for USA citizens

I'm not sure in this case if you would be allowed into the embassy. You could ridge the shutterly with her and then wait outside of they do not let you in.

My daughter was also told that she is approved and they kept her passport and said that she will receive the passport in one week. Currently Visa status is showing as administrative processing I am confused

My wife's status shows as Administrative Processing. I am hoping in couple of days it changes. I am expecting a bit of delay since there must be rush at the embassy after Eid closure.

Don't worry everyone! My husband had his interview September 30th. After it showed "administrative processing "but I checked this morning and it changed to "issued". Give it a day or two and if should change. :)

And congrats to everyone on their approvals! So exciting!
