Embassy lodge motel is good and other hotels are there near this one. I will check them tomorrow. From hotel to Embassy Metro car service is best. I used their services lot of times and have a good experience.

Yes. Embassy lodge is not like that it will be approx 60$. I will confirm it for you and some others which will be good and feasible in price.

Anecdotally speaking, that 1hr gap has yielded the best experience. I'm not sure of the shuttle timings though, so let me confirm that.

No cell phones or electronics at all. Handbags are allowed and so are small bottles of water. I'll ask around VJ again to confirm.

That is a complete understatement. Last week was absolutely terrible. It took 10 hours and $500 to change my plane tickets for this.

There is no good rule on when they transfer files to the embassy. Considering that some of us were rescheduled on Oct 1, they better be sending a bunch of them soon!!!!

In another thread , dwheels wrote that it's mostly a month before the interview when they transfer the file. I hope they do that this week cos it's already late for those who have their interview in the first week.

As of this morning, my current processing site is listed as Islamabad and my file is in transit, I think this is actually going to happen this time
