Hi VJs

I recieved my text for my I-485 biometric and I-131 on friday . I did not submit my 797(Employment Authorisation) because i was told by someone at USCIS that it was better for me to wait for the NOA on my i-485 before applying for my i-797.

Do any of you have the say issue?

Not true, is easier if you apply all together, Now since you apply separate you have to wait to get the hard copy of NOA1 so they don't charge you a fee for I-765(employment authorization )

You will have to send the copy of the check for I485 so they wave the fee.

Maybe you are more lucky than me and you will get it by tomorrow, cause I think they send my NOA via turtle ha, ha

Lol. I adjusted very quickly when it comes to snail mail here in the us... in the country where am from, you dont get the mail at all. If you do, it would take a year. Hahahaha!

I just got a text that started off with "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing." That's just a few hours after doing the biometrics. Do you typically get the update that quickly? Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number.

09/08/15 - Mailed I-130, I-131, I-765, I-485, I-864, and G-1145 to USCIS

09/10/15 - Documents delivered by USPS to USCIS

09/16/15 - Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to USCIS National Benefits Center

09/17/15 - Checks cashed

09/21/15 - Received hard copies of NOAs

09/25/15 - Biometrics letter received

09/28/15 - Walked in early and completed Biometrics

09/30/15- Request for Evidence on Application Type: I485 (email)

10/05/15- Received hard copy of RFE.

10/06/15- Mailed RFE response to USCIS

10/08/15- RFE response delivered to USCIS

10/14/15- Received 2nd biometrics letter. Scheduled for 10/22

10/22/15- Walked in a few hours early and completed second Biometrics.

11/12/15- Received approval for Application Type: I131, Application for USCIS travel document

11/13/15- Advanced Parole Card produced.

12/07/15- Received approval of EAD application.

12/09/15- EAD card mailed out.

01/06/16- Interview scheduled for March 10th

03/10/16- I-130 and I-485 approved. Green card in Production

 

06/13/21 - Filed n400 online

06/13/21 - NOA + Biometrics reuse notification

04/20/22  N-400 Approved! Waiting for ceremony

Ignore the one above. I forgot I sent out another doc for the work permit. That's just the 4th and final NOA.

@ Younes-Maria I really hope so but did you receive any sms or email before the NOA?

You will receive a text around 6 business days after you file, because even though USPS says delivered on 9/14 USCIS report they got it on 9/15 and I got the text on 9/18 around 5 pm, I know the waiting is hard, believe me I have no patience but you have to wait, maybe you will get the text on wendesday, I just got the hard copy of the NOA until today, via Snail mail ?

I sent my package 9/22 and it was signed by USCIS on 9/23. I just received a text/email few minutes ago. I guess you are just few minutes away from receiving a text/email.
