Just had the interview this morning for my wife here at the Phoenix office. Scheduled for 10:30 and arrived about 10:10. Couple minutes to go through security, and about 40 minutes waiting to be called back. Interview only lasted about 10 minutes and most of it was just us talking about weather, etc. asked for our id's and to see a few of the photos we brought. Asked a few questions from the forms we filled out. All said and done he approved us on the spot. Was just about as smooth as I could imagine.

My husband's case finally updated today (twice) :

First update: We are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, for an interview

Second update: On February 2, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number XXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

So... I'm assuming that my husband doesn't need an interview and will be getting the GC in the mail? If so, I'm excited to relax for the next two years. :)

Congrats to all the new GC holders :). Ichnusa, yes, I believe that is what it means. Next it should say your case is approved then mailed.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Things really have been moving. I promised myself I would stay away from VJ until it had been 6 months from my filing so as to not drive myself crazy...

My husband and I are both really sick and were about to lay down to take a nap, GC being the last thing on our minds. I grabbed my phone to set an alarm and he was approved!!!!!

No interview, no RFE, no nothing. Technically also no official approval; it went straight to the card is in production....

Congrats to all the recent approvals, and if it keeps up like this it seems there will be more to come soon :)

@Fazm83 .... did they keep any of the documents you brought? Im considering brings cards and some momentos ive saved over the years, things which can't necessarily be copied so I'm wondering if they'll want to keep them?
