Anyone use their advance parole? We received our card, and my husband wants to travel home for two weeks, but he is really nervous about going through immigration again. Apparently everything lies in the hands of the officer you get, so he doesn't like those odds

Any experiences? Should we be worried?

@DHCF we just used ours travel from Chicago to Ireland and back. Had no problems whatsoever at O'Hare Airport although we were nervous before, not going to lie. We went through the visa line and they took my husbands fingerprints then we went back into "secondary" as is customary. They let me go back and sit with him. They took his passport and EAD/AP and we just sat waiting on the benches. About 20 minutes later they called his name and gave him his documents back and we went and grabbed our bags! No problems at all. We applied for AOS from a visa waiver and had no period of overstay. I have read it can be risky if you've overstayed. While we were waiting we did see other people getting called into interview rooms but I have no idea what their circumstances were so ... But all in all, it was totally fine and I'm glad I didn't let my fears keep us from going back to his home for Christmas !

I've got a question to all of you who already received the EAD.

Do you already have a job or are you still applying for jobs? If you already have you, how long did it take to get one? And in what field do you work now?

Thank you :-)

It took me few weeks but i had several interviews lined up before getting the EAD and had to make a good choice, but luckily i ended up scoring a nice position with amazing benefits and perks.

Im really glad to see some movement with my fellow Atlanta office area filer. My case has been dead silent and my case has been ready to be scheduled for interview since October 13 2015. I have received my EAD though.

Good luck on your interview and don't forget to share your experience.

Stay strong for sure. Maybe the G325a got lost in transition. Hopefully it gets approved soon.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
