We are on the same boat. My mom's interview got canceled on 11/25, and we havent heard anything since then. My dad's case is even worse. No updates since 09/03, which notified us that fingerprint fee was received :(

Seems weird that your dad hasnt been in to have his fingerprints taken. Am not sure how the timelines are right now but if the already cashed out the aos and f/p fees you should make an infopass appointment and ask them any updates on your dad's case.

As for your mom's, most of the people who got their interviews cancelled were approved after sometime so lets hope that it will be soon. Check the # of days mentioned in the cancellation letter and make an infopass if its already past that number.

Immigration processes really test a persons patience. Good luck and happy new year!

I guess my patience has paid off. I woke up and checked my aos status online and it said case was approved yesterday! Yay! So now i am just hoping that the documents wont get lost due to the changed address. Hahahaha! :)aos journey and aos worries are still not done.

In my EAD and AP approval notice, I found this :

Your EAD and AP applications have been approved. The work authorization document with I-512 endorsement will be sent to you separately.

Evidence of employment authorization : at anytime before the expiration, show the form I-766 to your employer as evidence that you are authorized to work,

Evidence of Advance Parole: The form I-766 with I-512 endorsement is also an evidence that you may travel abroad while your I-485 is pending.

When i check online, my AP still says : Approved. even thought it has been more than a month now since it was approved, while the EAD was approved on the same day as the AP, turned into new card is being produced and shipped the following week.

and also, my AP was approved and it says that on the notice but when i got my EAD card it says that it is not valid for US re-entry.
I called them and they did not understand and they said they would mail it to me separately but i never got it.

they said they would send me also that form I-512 endorsement, but I never got anything like that

What is an I-512 endorsement and what is the form I-766 ? do all your approvals say that? what do you think might have happened to my AP?

I dont understand what happended to my case!

I think updates skipped a few steps. :) still hoping it wont get lost. Left instructions at the post office that we will just be picking up our mail while waiting for new key to our mailbox (we have cluster mailboxes here in the neighborhood). Worries still not done. :)

Ok so the key to our new mailbox (our is a cluster mailbox) isnt working and we had to go to the post office to make sure they rekey it. Post office said they are going to hold our mail in the mean time while they rekey our box which will take at least four weeks. *sigh*. Anyway, I knew my gc is going to arrive anyday now so I religiously tracked it on the usps website. Today it said "Out for Delivery".

I wanted to make sure that they really hold our mail. So I decided to do a stakeout and wait for the mailman to arrive. I was ready to wait until 7pm as I do not know what time he comes around to deliver the mail. And he arrived 30mins after I decided to wait in the garage (while cleaning). Turns out he is also filipino. We got to have a short talk and he told me he'll make sure our mail wont get lost. Anyway, the mail gods blessed me today because andy our mailman has my greencard with him! So yeah, i told him our key doesnt work and I showed him my ead and he gave me my mail! So now GREENCARD IS ON HAND!

I am so thankful for this site and happy to know fine people here who support each other every step of the immigration journey. I am so thankful i get to rest for the next 2 years. Hahahaha!

To you guys who are still waiting, i wish you goodluck! Just be patient! Cheers!
