No updates since 10/08/15. Got our EAD in 86 days but nothing, including no RFE, on the AOS. It is getting me frustrated watching so many October filers getting approved.

My wife hasn't received any updates either since her EAD was approved and mailed. We did get an RFE but we responded quickly back in October but since then, it's been pretty quiet on our end. I'm hoping to hear from them by the new year. I believe I have to wait 90 days after they received the RFE response to make an infopass or make any inquiry. I thought we were the only who hasn't received an interview date.

Just wanted to update - my wife's green card arrived in the mail today. I guess this means no more dealings with the USCIS until October of 2017. I am still amazed that my wife was approved of her green card so quickly and without interview. Hope everyone will have approvals as well very soon.

Congratulations!!!

Same here, since the beginning of the month the status has been saying that our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

Good luck to all of you

Hey guys,

my interview is in January and I'm busy to print or and collect all the important documents.

I hope I will be good with my proof and hopefully it will be enough. So far I have a photo book, pictures, letters, hotel reservations (it says only the number of guests but I think it will be fine), we just bought a car together and I'm on his car insurance company, I am named as his wife in the military system (dont even know what it is lol), I have the bill for his ring, all skype conversations, FB conversations, bill of our summer vacation, bill of a musical we went together, the FPL bill with both our names on it, some money transfers we had with both our names on it and envelopes and other packages with both our names on it friends/family sent us. Basically, that's it.

I guess I will bring a copy of the papers we sent in, my ssn, both birth certifications, my EAD and my DL.

Important question, do you think this is enough proof for the interview?

Hey Guys!

congrats to everyone and happy holidays!
I asked this question many times but i never got an answer, please if you have any idea let me know!

when does USCIS take the money( fee: 1070$)? i already have my EAD for a couple of weeks now and my GC status says that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

They should already have your money. ... are your sure it's still on your account?

Uscis doesn't even start with the process when the money is not there. I think they send you the notification that they received your papers and then it comes down to the money. No money, no EAD or interview. I don't believe that they did your case for free ;-)

Maybe you should call them and ask or contact your bank and ask what's going on.

My wife received her Green Card and EAD/AP card in the mail yesterday only 6 days after we went to our cancelled interview. I wish everyone here the best of luck, your time is coming soon.

we are still waiting to hear something about our case from our 12/17 scheduled interview that was descheduled. still says case was cancelled on 11/22.....i'm getting quite worried. also worried the useless infopasses will prove helpful. is it time to petition the local senator?

Hi e-n. Was there a timeline mentioned in the letter you received? You should definitely wait for that to end before contacting your senator. Because if your case is still within their timeline your senator will probably get the same response which is to wait for that number of days for an update on your case. Goodluck! Wish i have a better answer.

We are on the same boat. My mom's interview got canceled on 11/25, and we havent heard anything since then. My dad's case is even worse. No updates since 09/03, which notified us that fingerprint fee was received :(
