My husband finally got his EAD approval only 7 days after they received our RFE. We've had a lot of issues involving our mailing address and missing papers, so we are so happy to finally have some forward movement. :)

My husband and I also had mailing issues. So happy for you both that you are also getting some progress :)

Congrats to all the approvals. :) 1 more week for our interview. Wish us luck! :)[/quote

Very best of luck!

That is so weird.... I just this minute got approved for EAD and AP!!

Hey Casprushly. I filed in September 2015 and my field office is also in Pittsburgh. Somehow we ended up in different threads though. Here is the one where I was posting, if interested...http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/565350-september-filers-2015/?st=0

I hear Pittsburgh office takes a while to schedule an interview, so am curious to see others' experience, especially because we filed roughly at the same time.

Not happy to read that... but I shouldn't complain too much, since they moved their office to the building next to where I work. No need to endure the South Side anymore!

I am very happy for my wife. Today she was approved for her Green Card. I am so amazed because we were preparing for at least a year long journey. What also amazed me was she was approved without an interview. No notice that interview was waived. Truly excited and amazed.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Congratulations to all people who got approved and got their GCards and Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

My EAD and AP were approved on the same day, and when I got my card it said that it is not valid for US re-Entry. I was confused.

when i check my status online for the EAD it said card was shipped, but when i check for the AP it still says approved( it did not change into card shipped like the EAD).

I called USCIS and they were confused and they said they don't know what happened and they will mail the AP separately, but until now nothing changed.

My I485 status says that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview, it has been like this for 2 weeks and did not change. how much time does it take til i have my interview? is it 100% sure that i will have the interview or they will cancel it like they did for lots of people?

Thank you

Congrats to everyone getting their GC. I hope to hear something soon as its now been 79 days since the case was accepted for EAD/AP and havent heard anything. I received information on the interview a couple weeks ago for Dec 22nd but it got cancelled immediately and havent heard anything about that since. Last Saturday I sent an inquiry as it was 75 days since I heard anything and still nothing from the inquiry. This is really turning into a long process and testing my patience....

Congrats to everyone getting GC's,

79 days since the case for EAD/AP accepted and haven't heard anything, I even did a inquiry online last Saturday and haven't heard anything. They are really testing my patience. We got a interview scheduled a couple weeks ago for Dec 22nd but it was immediately cancelled and haven't heard anything on that either. I'm thinking we should probably show up to the original scheduled date just incase the cancellation was an error. What do you guys think?

Congrats on your ead approval! Am not sure about your ap but the card should state "serves as i-512 advance parole" at the bottom. If they said they are sending a different document for ap that works too. :)

As for the interview, you just need to be patient, i waited a month before i got any updates about my interview schedule lol. :) good luck!

What was your RFE about? Ours was for a joint sponsor, they received our response on November 25 and still no updates....hoping they get to it soon as well :)

The RFE was also for more information about our joint sponsor. I did place an inquiry on the 12th since our case was at 76 days, and then it was approved on the 14th. So, that might be worth a try!
